My journey with wellness has always been rooted in a desire to create space for healing — body, mind, and spirit. As a registered yoga teacher, I’ve found my home in Yin Yoga, where stillness, breath, and gentle presence can open doors to deep release. With trauma-informed training, I hold space for students to feel safe, supported, and seen.

Wanting to extend that same care beyond the mat, I created an 8-week mindfulness coaching program for Rock Creek Wellness, blending DBT tools with mindfulness practices to help people navigate life with more balance and ease.
My Hope for Wellness
My hope for wellness is that it feels nourishing, supportive, and sustainable—not rigid or overwhelming. I believe true wellness honors the whole person: body, mind, spirit, and the seasons of life we move through. My intention is to help my students reconnect with their bodies, build trust in their own inner wisdom, and create habits that feel realistic and life-giving. Wellness, to me, isn’t about perfection or control—it’s about learning how to care for yourself with curiosity, compassion, and consistency, so you can feel more grounded, resilient, and at home in your body. I joined the Rock Creek Wellness team because of their unwavering commitment to the well-being of their community, and I’m excited to contribute to promoting all aspects of wellness alongside such a passionate group.
Interesting Tidbits
I’m endlessly grateful for my husband and son, and I cherish the time we spend together — along with our animals, who bring so much joy and grounding to my daily life. Wellness is an integral part of both my life and my work. I love to run, and I enjoy slowing down for deep, intentional stretching that restores my body and nervous system. I’m a bit of a nutrition nerd and truly believe good food is at the heart of feeling well. I love playing around with all the beautiful foods God has given us, creating meals that feel both nourishing and joyful. Being outside, tending the garden, and getting creative in the kitchen fill my cup. I start my mornings slowly with prayer and reflection, and I’m endlessly drawn to simple moments like a glowing sunrise, a crisp fall day, or a cozy evening by the fire.
